Business guide

The Nightclub: the complete business guide

The Nightclub is the passive income king of GTA Online, and the most misunderstood business in the game. The club itself, the DJs, the dancing, all of it is set dressing: the money lives in the warehouse underneath, where five technicians quietly accrue goods from businesses you own without you ever resupplying them. Set it up correctly once and it earns while you heist, race or sleep.

This guide is the correct setup, start to finish: what to buy, which businesses to link, the popularity loop and the selling rhythm, with the verified numbers underneath. Figures are checked against current tracked values as of early August 2026.

Step 1: buy the club

  • Buy from Maze Bank Foreclosures, GTA$1 million to GTA$1.7 million depending on location, and location is all you are paying for
  • Do not buy it first. The warehouse only earns from businesses you already own, so the Nightclub is the layer you add on top of an existing operation, not the way in

Step 2: own the right five businesses

Warehouse technicians each produce one good, and five goods dominate. To unlock them you need to own the matching business, and here is the part everyone gets wrong: you never need to resupply those businesses for the Nightclub to accrue. Owning them, even sitting empty, is enough.

  • Cargo and Shipments: needs a Special Cargo warehouse or a Hangar
  • Sporting Goods: needs a Bunker
  • South American Imports: needs a Cocaine Lockup
  • Pharmaceutical Research: needs a Meth Lab
  • Cash Creation: needs a Counterfeit Cash Factory
  • Everything else is filler. Five technicians, these five goods, done

Step 3: assign and upgrade

  • Assign all five technicians to the five goods above from the warehouse management screen
  • Take the equipment upgrade when you can: it speeds every technician and pays for itself on the timescale this business runs on
  • The warehouse works in every session type, invite-only included, so none of this requires public lobby risk

Step 4: run the popularity loop

  • Club popularity fills a safe that pays up to GTA$50,000 per in-game day, 48 real minutes, at full popularity
  • Keep it topped up the lazy way: swap the DJ for GTA$10,000 whenever you pass through, or run the short promo missions
  • Collect the safe when you visit, it caps, and money above the cap is money lost

Step 5: sell on rhythm

  • A completely full warehouse is worth GTA$1,931,500 gross, about GTA$1,831,500 after the capped GTA$100,000 cut Tony takes
  • Every Nightclub sale uses one delivery vehicle, fully solo-friendly regardless of stock size
  • The efficient rhythm: sell around every 20 hours of accrual, when the coke, meth and cash goods sit full, rather than waiting for absolute capacity
  • Watch the weekly events: Nightclub goods run bonus weeks like everything else, and a boosted full warehouse is one of the biggest single sells in the game

The reference layer

The honest positioning: the Nightclub is the best money in GTA Online that you do not have to earn twice. It demands real capital first, the club plus the five feeder businesses, which is why it is the second phase of a money plan rather than the first. But once assembled it produces roughly GTA$1.8 million net per full cycle plus the popularity safe on top, for a workload of one DJ swap and one delivery mission. Nothing else in the game pays that much for that little attention.

Where it fits

The 2026 solo stack in one line: Acid Lab as the active floor, Nightclub as the passive layer, heists as the spikes. Our Acid Lab guide and the heists comparison cover the other two, and the online desk at sixcentral.co.uk/online carries every guide, on the site and in the SixCentral app.

Buy the feeders, assign the five, swap the DJ, sell on rhythm. The party is a front, and the front prints money.

The seven goods, and which technicians to assign

Your basement warehouse has technicians who accrue goods on their own. Each technician is assigned to one of seven types, and each type only accrues if you own the business that feeds it.

  • Cargo and Shipments, fed by a CEO Special Cargo warehouse. The highest value per unit and the first technician you should assign.
  • South American Imports, fed by an MC cocaine lockup. Second best.
  • Cash Creation, fed by an MC counterfeit cash factory. Third.
  • Sporting Goods, fed by a Bunker. Good, and most players own a bunker anyway.
  • SA Special Cargo, fed by a Hangar.
  • Pharmaceutical Research, fed by an MC meth lab.
  • Organic Produce, fed by an MC weed farm. The weakest, and the one to leave unassigned if you are short of technicians.

Technicians are bought one at a time up to five. Assign in the order above, buying the feeder business if you do not have it. The critical detail people miss: the feeder businesses do not need to be actively supplied or producing. They just need to be owned and not shut down. The nightclub accrues regardless.

Popularity, and the only bit of upkeep

Popularity decays daily and it controls your safe income, which caps at GTA$50,000 a day at full popularity. Let it slide and the safe dries up.

Restoring it is trivial. Complete a short club management job, or simply dance at your own club for a couple of minutes. Both push popularity back up. Do it whenever you pass through to collect the safe and it never becomes a problem.

Which location to buy

Interiors are identical, so location is the only real variable, and for a nightclub it matters less than for most businesses because you barely go there.

What does matter is the sale. Nightclub deliveries start from your club, so a central location shortens every run. Del Perro and West Vinewood are the convenient expensive ones. Elysian Island is the cheapest and is out on its own in the south east, which lengthens most deliveries.

Buy the cheapest one if the money is doing more work elsewhere. The delivery penalty is real but small compared with buying the technicians.

Selling a full warehouse

  • A completely full warehouse grosses around GTA$1,931,500 for one delivery mission, which is the best money-per-effort ratio in the game.
  • Delivery vehicle count scales with stock, same as the bunker. A full warehouse solo can mean multiple vehicles.
  • The Speedo Custom is the vehicle you want on a full sale. It carries the most and takes damage well.
  • Sell in a private session where the mission allows. There is no upside to doing this in public.
  • Do not let the warehouse sit completely full for days. It stops accruing once capped and that is dead time.

The Terrorbyte, and why it belongs down there

The Terrorbyte is bought through and stored in the nightclub garage, and it is one of the most quietly useful vehicles in GTA Online. It launches Client Jobs, carries a weapon workshop, and takes the Collectible Scanner upgrade if you own the Garment Factory.

It also stores and launches the Oppressor Mk II. If you are building toward the standard grinder setup, the nightclub is the property that unlocks it.

The honest summary

The nightclub is not a business you run. It is a business you install. Buy the club, buy the technicians, own the feeders, then collect the safe and sell the warehouse when it fills.

The catch is the true cost. The club itself is a million or so. The technicians and the feeder businesses underneath it are several million more. Judge it on that total, not the sticker price, and buy it fourth or fifth rather than first.
